Cirencester, known as the "Capital of the Cotswolds", with both an affluent population and high visitor numbers, was chosen as the ideal location for Joe Browns' first store in the south of England. This attractive historic town is located at the intersection of five major roads and is well connected to both the M4 and M5, making it accessible to a wide catchment area. A sloping floor and a deep unit presented some store design challenges which were met with unique solutions.
