A new era in waxed cotton. Not only is this waxed cotton durable and water repellent it can also be washed and does not have a 'sticky hand', unlike traditional wax finishes. A quick spin in the dryer every few washes restores the water repellent finish. The more you wear it, handle it and crush it the more weathered it becomes, making each Tilley Waxed Cotton Hat unique to the owner and the adventures taken. Like all Tilley Hats, the TWC5 has a UPF rating of 50+ to protect from the sun, while also being rain repellent to protect from the elements.
