Returns & Exchanges



If you need to return or exchange an item, it's no problem. We know that being able to return goods easily is part of what makes online shopping so great, so to make returning or exchanging your item quick and easy just read on.

Please Note
We will only accept goods returned in a clean condition. This is especially so for footwear. It is part of health and safety law that staff are not allowed to handle dirty items. (If your last walk took you through a farmyard who knows what is on the soles of your boots!) Any dirty items will be returned to the sender at their expense or disposed of after 30 days.



Exchanges
The quickest way to exchange an unwanted item is to place a new order online and return your original item to us at the below address for a refund. Alternatively, just pop your original item in the post to us with a few details of what you'd like in exchange and we'll do the rest (make sure you keep your proof of postage as the goods remain your property until we receive them). If there's a difference in price, don't worry, we'll get in touch to organise a refund or debit.

Unwanted Items
We are happy to refund any item bought from Edge of the World as long as it is returned in new condition with all labels attached and within 90 days of purchase. We recommend that you try on footwear on a carpeted surface to avoid marking the soles.

Faulty Items
Any faulty items should be returned to our address below. Please include a note saying what the problem is along with your details and a copy of your receipt. Ensure you get a proof of posting and that the goods are adequately insured as the goods remain your property until we receive them – if they get lost in the post you will need to claim against the postal service. We will endeavour to rectify the fault as soon as possible, but if a fault is not apparent we may need to send goods away to be tested. We are usually able to deal with faulty goods within 10 working days (two weeks). Upon confirmation of a fault you will be offered a repair, refund or replacement dependent upon the age and availability of the item.

Non-returnable Items
Due to health and safety legislation we are unable to accept the return of the following items, unless faulty:

- Worn socks, underwear, or pyjamas
- Specially ordered or personalised items
- Shop-soiled or ex-display items
